I have taken it before and it can be fun to run. I do prefer other builds for my sin but I do change back every once and awhile. I would say try it out and go from there. I am by no means a pro at PvP and play JQ or FA occasionally so if you are serious about your PvP take my experience with a grain of salt.

I see WoTA as a completely useless skill for pvp|pve. My favorite builds usually have a daze of some kind for those casters who think that your gonna be an easy kill. Good luck!

Way of the Assassin is a great skill, one of the better elites for that class. I use it often and with great success.
Go ahead and try it out

Depends your build and where you wanna play. If you go for HA , you may have to play the bar , so you can be asked to run terrible bars ( i.e wota with fox fangs , critical strike , etc....).
However , a combinaison of skills such as critical eye , WoTa , critical defense ( depends the arena though( RA/Jq/FA are ok ) , golden fox fangs , + some other skills is usually doing great ..

It's mostly for the basic pvp, RA, JA, AB, etc. I have been running it with Critical defenses and it has been working well. Even when I go to cap shrines it works well to keep CD up. I was just curious to see what everyone else's input was on it. Since I'm running it at 13 critical strikes which is a only a 18% IAS.
I know this is the wrong section, but going towards PvE. I know most people would go with Critical Agility, but with the amount of enchantment removal especially in HM would it just be safer to take WotA?

If you use an assassin in pve that means you'll have loads of enchantments from you heros, like Strength of Honour, Order of Pain, Dark Fury (to charge SY!), or AoHM and Judge's Insight, etc.., not to mention protection enchantments, so don't worry about ench stripping..

WoTA sins are used in HA....the sad thing about HA is that if you don't have a rank you won't fine a group that often.

Damage from sins come from attack skills not from dagger damage itself. Since those skills are on fixed recharges an IAS will not make those +dmg skills recharge any faster, unlike warrior where an IAS will let adrenaline charge faster.
IAS on a sin is only good for skill compression. Right now with most of the sin attacks being 1/2 cast an IAS just isn't worth the slot.
If you feel you absolutely need an IAS, go with flurry. As I said before the damage from daggers is practically insignificant and the 25% damage loss on flurry only affects the dagger damage not the +dmg.

JaggedStrike/BlackMantisthrust + FoxFangs alone makes any IAS unnecessary. The biggest reason you would take WotA is the +crit chance for e-management (if your not taking CriticalStrikes) or you simply lack a better elite. The Conjure WotA build for example performs just fine even if you remove/never activate WotA.

True, but I use WotA (In Pve) to manage my energy, with rank 13 critical strikes it means u get an additional +31% (to land in a critical hit) from only WotA, this means if u combine it with Critical eye, which means u get an additional 13% (to land in a critical hit), with 13 Critical strikes u get 3 energy if u land in a critical hit.
So the sum it all up, if u have WotA it will be easy energy management since u will get +4 energy 50% of the times. Which means u can spam skills like a mad man

WotA is awesome. It boosts already fast daggers attack speed, and auto-attacking with daggers at high critical hit rates actually dishes out noteworthy damage. Conjure [insert element here] also makes WotA that much more appealing.
